Our first public alpha/demo release is here! It is currently only available for Windows.

Estimated release for final version is late 2014/early 2015.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

We recommend that you start trying to install it using the installation file (alternative 1). If this isn’t working (there have been some problems for some testers), give alternative 2 a shot.

—– Alternative 1 —–

– Download the installation file from the following link: Download

– Run the installation file (setup.exe). A warning might appear. This is nothing to worry about. Proceed with the installation.
– After this hopefully the game is installed and can be ran from the start menu.

—– Alternative 2 —–

– Download and install Microsoft XNA Framework Redistributable 4.0:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=20914
– Then download following zip-file: Download

– Finally start the game through running “The Sun Will Go Out.exe”

Having trouble?

If you’re having trouble installing or starting the game, try adding an exception for the game or the installer (whichever you’re having trouble with) in your firewall and antivirus software.
